I am the owner and Lead Designer at Where The Heart Is Designs. I founded this company in 2018 purely out of a passion for all things home design and a joy for helping others. I am a mom of three, I'm married to my high school sweetheart, and I enjoy doing anything creative. I am a 6th generation Texan, so you could say my Lone Star roots run deep. Every day that I wake up doing what I love, I realize how truly blessed I am to have had the countless clients
achieve their #homegoals, and to have the opportunity to have built several meaningful relationships along the way.
Here at Where The Heart Is Designs, our team is passionate about bringing our clients' dreams to life; whether that be by styling their space or staging their vacant home for potential homebuyers! We love what we do and our passion and skill is reflected in every project.Wehere The Heart Is Designs was born in Fort Worth, Texas and we have no plans of leaving our amazing DFW community. Howdy! My name is Rachel, and I am a proud designer here at Where The Heart Is. I moved to Fort Worth and started my design career in early 2023, and haven't looked back since. I graduated with my Bachelor's in Communication from Arizona State University in 2018 and have been in the digital marketing field until I made the switch to interior design. Now I can't see myself doing anything different. My favorite parts of this job are watching a design come
to life, challenging myself creatively, and constantly learning something new with the best team.
When I'm not working on design projects, you can find me in the gym or a spin class, walking my two adorable dogs, traveling with family and friends, or working on my 1950's fixer-upper home. I love spending time outdoors, cooking/baking, reading mystery novels, and above all, being with my people.

Hello there! My name is Vanessa, and I am from the central valley in California and come from a strong agricultural family background. I moved to Texas three years ago to purse my education in Fort Worth, Texas. I am a third-year student majoring in interior design and minoring in architectural lighting at Texas Christian University; GO FROGS!!
My hobbies include daily physical activity, quality time with friends and family, traveling the world, and trying foods from all different cultural backgrounds.
Starting from a little girl, I was passionate about picking out the right paint colors, rearranging furniture, and discussing plans with contractors, and that is when my mother and I knew that this was the career I was born to be a part of. Being able to land this dream job and work for this company has not only helped me grow in many ways, but has also taught me what it takes to make an ordinary house feel like home and I can promise that with our determined and skillful team, we can do just that and more for you!

Hi, I’m Courtney Davis. Born & raised in the DFW area! I’ve been married to my best friend for 5 years and we have two daughters! We have a two year old & a one year old. We are huge into family time, playing games, watching movies, and watching sports! (GO YANKEES) yes… I’m from TX but love me some Yankee baseball!
I attended Weatherford College for two years with a full ride, playing softball! After attending Weatherford College, I got my bachelors degree at Tarleton State University with my education/business degree! I taught pre-k for a while before we had our girls and ever since I’ve been a SAHM. Fun Fact: While being a teacher, I had my own clothing business, called PinkImpressions boutique! I have always loved the clothing industry and learned so much on the marketing/business side of it. I have always loved home staging and I’m so thankful to be the administrative assistant for Where The Heart Is. I love how much we work together as a team and how we always so support each other! We are one BIG family!

Hey y’all! I’m Rachel, born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas! After high school, I pursued a degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology at Texas Tech University, initially planning on a career in physical therapy. However, my passion for interior design took hold during my studies, and I haven’t looked back since!
Beyond design, I have a deep love for traveling and exploring new places. I enjoy discovering cute local spots with friends and indulging in a bit of retail therapy each week. My constant companion through it all is Shadow, my sweet little chihuahua, who brightens every day and occasionally joins me at work! There is so much fulfillment in the process of turning visions into tangible environments and creating spaces that are uniquely personal. The chance to shape how people experience their spaces really excites me, making every project a fun and rewarding challenge. I feel extremely blessed to experience these moments at Where The Heart Is and I look forward to growing as a designer with this incredible team!
ASHLEY
Social Media Coordinator
From Weatherford, Texas, I grew up with a big, big passion for fine arts. I was definitely born with a creative side, so I have always immersed myself in creative hobbies.
As I grew older, I found myself excelling in math and science which lead me to Oklahoma State University where I studied Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I wanted to help others.
I spent a lot of time doing independent research, which unfortunately (at the time) caused a lot of emotional distress and unwanted weight gain - here it became apparent that I needed to shift my skillset.
I later went through a big physical transformation, where I personally documented my 30 pound weight loss and found a way to merge both my science side and creative side by sharing my journey online. I grew a YouTube channel from zero to half a million views within two months and knew that I was in the right place. Not only was I helping others find confidence within themselves, I wasn't neglecting my creative side anymore.
YouTube opened a lot of doors for me. From co-producing and directing an IGTV reality series with over 2.5 million views, to working with the Texas Rangers, to even starting my own Social Media Agency.
Health and fitness are still just as important to me, as I'm both a certified Nutritionist and Personal Trainer, but I am certain that I'm exactly where I need to be! Working with Where The Hearts Is brings so much joy to my heart. It's really special to work alongside other creatives who prioritize their clients' dreams and make them come to life! Getting to document and showcase this team is truly such a blessing.

Hi, my name is Montrell Newton AKA Monty. I started my career by working in the restaurant industry for six years and after much enjoyment, I wanted to try something new! I was presented an opportunity to work with Where The Heart Is and have really enjoyed my time here! It's the right amount of hard work that keeps me in shape.
Everyone on the team always has a positive outlook and are ready to take on any and every challenge! I am thrilled to be a part of the team. In my spare time, I like to workout and enjoy some online competitive video games.

Hi, my name is Kyle Hardy I am a mover/installer for WhereTheHeartIsDesigns, and I am graduate from Angelo state university hoping to become a personal trainer. First and foremost I am truly thank to work for a company that defines trust and teamwork. I like to describe myself as a man who strives to be the best and refuses to settle for less.
Every day, I thank God for blessing me with the mindset to stay motivated and determined no matter the circumstance. Whether exercising, school, or work, I will continue to power through with the strength God gives me. In the future, I plan to be an inspiration to those around me, and I intend to lead and inspire through action. Therefore, I will model the expectations I set for others.

Hi, I’m BriAnna, a proud Texan, born and raised in Fort Worth, I cherish my home state, yet I also have a love for travel. Coming from a large Hispanic family, I deeply appreciate my culture and especially enjoy the traditional Mexican dishes inspired by my grandmothers, both of whom were excellent cooks.
For the past 10 years, I’ve worked in the medical field, initially aiming to become a nurse, but I soon realized my true passion lies elsewhere. Currently attending college, I’m thrilled to join the Where The Heart Is Designs team and explore my creativity in the art of interior design/ staging. Each day brings new opportunities to learn and grow in this field. I have a strong passion for helping others, and I look forward to bringing a fresh perspective to this role. I am grateful to Savannah for this opportunity to be part of such a fantastic team!
